We were recently delighted to receive affirmation that we are on course to achieving our goal when wealth intelligence firm New World Wealth released its round-up of the top 10 lifestyle estates in South Africa for 2022 a couple of weeks ago. We were proud to see Steyn City was named amongst these prestigious addresses, and although the estates were not ranked in order, we noted that our development has been described in the report as “probably the best designed” in South Africa.
New World Wealth also went on to comment on the “world class” nature of our facilities, drawing special attention to our fabulous 300m lagoon and clubhouse, as well as the indigenous planted parkland that makes our beautiful development so very unique. It’s thanks to this parkland that we are able to attract such a wonderful wealth of birdlife, which also received mention in New World Wealth’s write-up. Finally, New World Wealth commended us on the excellent mix of housing options available, which create a home for everyone – from young executives to growing families.

As the brainchild of South Africa’s Edith Venter, the event will start with a refreshing cocktail for all guests on arrival, followed by an indulgent light lunch washed down with delicious tipples from the Inverroche Gin Bar or Jameson Whiskey Lounge, hosted by Pernod Ricard. Guests will be able to browse pop-up stores offering an array of gorgeous spoils, or have a little pamper session at the salon – thanks to international brands Clarins and SOHO for sponsoring hair and nails. But, beyond the excitement, Playing4Pink has a serious mission: to raise funds for Reach for Recovery, a non-medical programme which supports women with breast cancer. This year, it also focuses on the Ditto Project, which helps breast cancer sufferers from lower income groups who cannot afford reconstructive surgery. By fitting these women with an external breast prosthesis, the Ditto Project makes it possible for them to regain confidence and dignity.
