Steyn City Newsletter:
November 2022
The setting is the perfect backdrop to our magnificent homes: imagine 2 000 acres of indigenous parkland on your doorstep to do, well, whatever you want – from picnicking with the family to sitting in silence, connecting with nature, all within a secure setting to offer complete peace of mind.
The development also offers a host of world class facilities that aim to transform leisure time into pure pleasure time, from golf, to cycling, horse-riding, swimming, tennis, running, walking, fishing and leisure time at a choice of eateries or at the poolside.
We have a selection of beautifully appointed stands to choose from, each with its own special view and unique appeal.
Or, if you prefer the convenience of a home where all the building work has been done for you, take a look at this spacious five-bedroomed house, newly released to the market. With its generous dimensions and floor-to-ceiling windows, it can’t help but impress – especially when you consider features like an upstairs entertainment room (ideal for home gym or private cinema), state of the art kitchen with separate scullery, open plan lounge leading onto a patio with a sparkling pool, separate TV lounge with gas fireplace and fitted study. What’s more, all bedrooms are ensuite, and upstairs bedrooms boast their own patios, while the master bedroom leads onto a dressing room. Other highlights include roomy staff quarters and a backup system.
CITY CENTRE: WHERE EVERY DAY’S A HOLIDAY
While thoughts are turning to the December holidays, and which beaches are best, life continues as usual for residents at Steyn City’s City Centre.
That’s because every day at this beautiful, groundbreaking development feels like a holiday. And why wouldn’t it, given that the crystalline waters of the 300m lagoon rival any of the best coastal destinations – especially when you can enjoy activities like SUP boarding, waterslides and kayaking, followed by an icy gelato or snack from the stylish poolside kiosk?
And just a few steps from your front door! That’s just one of the ways you can spend the day. There’s also a choice of eateries, a rooftop pool, and the rest of Steyn City’s outstanding facilities to choose from, including a Nicklaus design championship golf course with clubhouse, an aquatic centre, equestrian centre, 45km floodlit promenade for running and jogging, 50km mountain-bike trail, fishing dams, tennis courts and outside workout stations.
Or, you could choose to spend the day lounging in the comfort of your own home – a home where the lights are always on and you never have to plan your life around load shedding. Live your best life in our spacious one, two, three and four bedroom apartments with quality interior finishes, and no maintenance giving you more hours to soak up this resort lifestyle with its world-class facilities.
As new homeowners put it, “Since we now have only ourselves to look after, the City Centre suits our lifestyle perfectly – we love the fact that we can close the door to our apartment and head on our next adventure without worrying about whether the garden or pool will go to pieces in our absence. We also love all the choices we have on site – it’s so exciting to be able to explore the parkland and all the wonderful facilities or head downstairs to the Seattle Coffee Company when we feel like a coffee. The convenience is wonderful.”
For those who are tempted to perhaps try our City Centre lifestyle without making a permanent investment, or even those who are putting off their home purchase until interest rates come down, the development’s new rental offering is especially noteworthy. Rental terms are a minimum of twelve months, and upwards of R15,000 per month. And, for corporates interested in turning the City Centre into a home base for their travelling employees, we will soon be introducing a range of fully furnished, serviced apartments.
ON YOUR MARKS. GET SET. GO –
AUTO & GENERAL CROSS TRIATHLON FEBRUARY 2023
Run. Cycle. Swim. The beauty of the Auto & General Cross Triathlon is that you can take part in each of these disciplines or, if you’ve entered as a team, pick the one that’s most certain to get you a PB.
Steyn City hosted the inaugural triathlon this year, inviting participants to take part in a 600m swim in our beautiful lagoon, followed by a 30km ride on our purpose-built MTB track and a 7km run along our promenade. Next year, we’re introducing a family and novice friendly version of the event, with athletes able to race their way through half distances.
Afterwards, participants are invited to a well-deserved relax at our magnificent lagoon.
With only 700 entries available, it’s best to enter sooner rather than later for the event taking place on 23 February 2023.
