We’re well into the second half of the year and what a fantastic couple of months we have planned!
In fact, we are already looking forward to next year. As you will by now have heard, Steyn City has been selected to host the first LIV Golf on the African continent in March 2026.
This is an outstanding honour and a huge coup for the country. We’re thrilled to be part of an event that will help to bring positive attention to South Africa, showcasing all we have to offer. And Steyn City couldn’t be more proud to be part of this historic moment!

The countdown to Spring has begun, and to welcome in the new season, our events team has been preparing our new ‘Summer in the City’ campaign. We’re looking forward to treating you to a host of fun-filled events for all members of our Steyn City community, from the Steyn City Pop-Up – ‘The Art of Living Shopping Experience’, a specially curated celebration of design, décor and fashion 12-14 September (with an exclusive preview for residents on the 11th) to our summer events including family movie night, a silent disco (becoming an annual favourite) at the Lagoon for our tweens and teens, and that festive favourite, Carols by Candlelight. We can’t wait to make the most of every summer moment with you, so watch this space for all the details of what’s to come and be sure to check the Steyn City app’s new event calendar for forthcoming attractions.
In the meantime, Women’s Month provided us with a wonderful opportunity to honour a truly formidable woman who continues to inspire and uplift those around her. We were delighted to welcome mountaineer and philanthropist Angela Yeung, who recently summited Mount Everest to raise awareness around gender-based violence. She was joined by renowned author and businessman, Thebe Ikalafeng, for a Fireside Chat hosted earlier this month at The Clubhouse.
It was an unforgettable evening that left men, women, and children in the audience in absolute awe of Angela’s extraordinary achievement and the powerful work she does through her foundation, Impilo.
