We’re excited to announce the launch of two new show apartments at our flagship apartment development, City Centre. These are an absolute must-see if you’d like to explore our unique take on urban living.
These show apartments have been thoughtfully styled by Home Collab, one of Johannesburg’s most dynamic design studios. The team has applied their talent to create a look which comes together with textured textiles, beautiful wallpaper prints and custom designed furniture, balancing the structure of the spaces with their magnificent natural surroundings.
Our first apartment is a gorgeous two-bedroom corner unit overlooking the tree lined central park. Here, the Home Collab team has made the most of natural light and mirrored reflections to create a modern aesthetic. A neutral colour palette dominates in the living spaces, while the master bedroom receives a tactile accent with houndstooth prints and suede textiles. The guest bedroom, meanwhile, is a sophisticated sanctuary, where highlights include brush stroke wallpaper and dark toned fabrics, achieving the designers’ aim of creating a space infused with different design ideas, moulded into a single theme.
Our four-bedroom apartment has the feel of an enchanted forest. Making the most of balcony views over Steyn City’s lagoon and piazza, the space has an unmistakably luxurious feel, created through the use of dark wood and boucle textured textiles. There is equal emphasis on the outdoor spaces, where the design aims to make the onlooker feel part of the natural environment. Move to the bedrooms, and you’ll be greeted by a symphony of natural tones in the master suite: think soft blues and cocoon-like throws. In the guest bedroom, pinks and green harmonise, while the second guest bedroom showcases moody blue tones offset by subtle blue wallpaper. The fourth bedroom has been designed as a luxe work-from-home space with ample dimensions and bespoke furniture that will serve to impress.
These apartments are a perfect example of the luxury and convenience you can expect from City Centre, made possible through features like climate control and double-glazed windows, high ceilings and wide passages, and rooms large enough to fit a king-size bed.
The development itself is nothing short of groundbreaking: access to Steyn City’s one-of-a-kind 2000-acre parkland gives you endless space to roam, while the 300m lagoon turns every day into a holiday.
