VISITING THE VILLAGE AT STEYN CITY

Steyn City has always prided itself on offering its residents, everything, from fitness enthusiasts to busy executives. Our ability to appeal to a broad range of homeowners depends as much on our facilities as the varying vistas of our parkland. The Village, located within walking distance of our Dino Park and several other children’s play nodes, and just around the corner from the renowned Steyn City Schools campus, is a case in point – for families, it’s a small piece of paradise, the perfect suburb to lay down roots for a growing family.

That’s not only because of the suburb’s proximity to features that are an immense hit with parents looking for ways to keep their children entertained safely, or trying to cut down on the school run. It’s also because of the exquisite positioning of the 125 stands that make up this unique development: with extra elevation and stunning 360-degree views over the golf course and creek, this most recent suburb of our 2 000 acre indigenous planted parkland is extremely scenic abundant with birdlife and antelope.

Almost two-thirds of our stands in The Village have already been purchased, with the value of these beautiful properties, measuring between 800m2 and 3 500m2, already increasing from R2,8 million to a starting price of R3,6 million.

With more than 30 homes currently under construction, several residents have already moved in and made The Village their home. Like our other Steyn City homeowners, they enjoy access to the extensive range of outstanding facilities, from the 18-hole Nicklaus championship golf course with clubhouse to the world-class equestrian centre, indoor aquatic centre, 45km floodlit promenade, 50km MTB track, resort pools and tennis courts. Steyn City also offers a choice of eateries and coffee shops, as well as on-site must-haves that make life more convenient, such as the school and AAA-grade offices at Capital Park. Our 300m lagoon makes every day feel like a holiday, while the chartered flights available at the Ultimate Helistop mean that getaways are within easy reach.

CITY CENTRE – A TASTE OF THE GOOD LIFE

Loadshedding has become a scourge of South African life. Worst still, just as soon as we have adapted, we learnt of the latest challenge to hit us: watershedding.

For residents at Steyn City’s City Centre, these issues are, well, non-issues. That’s because the forward-thinking development has been designed with every convenience in mind – and convenience certainly requires both water and electricity. With this in mind, City Centre’s flagship features both back-up energy to ensure 24-hour power, and onsite water storage tanks, making potable water freely available at all times. Steyn City residents also have access to piped gas for their Gaggenau hobs and ovens as well as geysers.

This accent on convenience is matched by an equal emphasis on luxury, with standard features including rooms large enough to accommodate king size beds, climate control, double glazed windows, integrated blu_line kitchens with Gaggenau appliances and Kohler sanitaryware throughout. Added to this, private studies, separate TV lounges, entertainer’s patios and, in some homes, private elevators add a sense of spaciousness, enhanced by high ceilings and broad passages.

A selection of these stunning homes was recently made available for rental, creating an exciting option for people seeking a temporary base in Johannesburg, travelling for business or simply trying out this magnificent one-of-a-kind lifestyle.
